Achieving Contentment Not Happiness.

The dictionary defines Contentment as being happy; I’ve never disagreed with the dictionary until today. If I am content that means I am experiencing an emotion that is not sad or happy but one the suggest, “I’ll accept this emotion over being sad”
When I experience the emotion of being happy it’s an emotion rated as better than satisfied–to me. More to the point: If we are to achieve contentment we need to be aware of what’s needed and how to differentiate faux contentment. Our community is bombarded with faux contentment. Rather than point fingers, I’ll keep the focus on how to attempt to achieve contentment.
